Goodness, I'm amazed at how fast I can understand a program when I really want to. I'd also thought I was really bad with digital programs, it seems like it was simply a psychological issue. I have to admit though, I can't time things well yet which is why I absolutely abhor animation moments. Let's just say...I'm more of a drawing person.

One of my colleagues posted up an article about a couple being detained in Dubai. It's hard to believe the truth of it because it's reported only on the Chinese Lian He Wan Bao but not making the headlines in mainstream news does not mean it never did happen, or that it was a scam.What strike me most was the manner in which it was written, it lacked a detailed explanation of 'why it happened' but a ton of description of 'how it happened'. The result, immediate fear, paranoia, anger and distrust. Worst still, most readers react with the immediate condemnation of the country that was mentioned, its people, their culture and even religion. We are not given the full detail of what really happened, neither has the matter been brought up officially. So, until it does, it would be best to keep our prejudices and hateful comments to ourselves.

On a side note,Singaporeans are really sheltered people, the nation's low crime rates have turned us into trusting and arguably complacent people. We trust people easily, we extend our helping hand willingly to those who are in need. There is nothing wrong with that but such naivety should be kept within the country. When travelling to places that are unfamiliar, be as paranoid as possible,well, at least that's how I'd do it. When you are abroad, anything can happen and it's always essential to look after yourself, your family and your belongings. Also, if you have your suspicions about a certain country or if you feel that you need the extra security, do inform friends/relatives of your travel schedule. And there is always the MFA. Always travel smart and remember that the world is not all rainbows, ponies and friendly men from romance novels/movies.

Sometimes, I am grateful for the tight control in Singapore.I've read a substantial amount of articles and documents (with regards to the States) to come to the conclusion that freedom of speech and the individual's rights when used inappropriately only serves to become the shield of hate-mongers and cowards who are bent on disrupting peace.

There are times where I'd rather have a boring documentary-like controlled paper than an interesting one that is filled with stereotypes and gossips. Other than to inform, a privately owned media company also aims to reap in profits and what sells better than a "story" that feeds on the masses' stereotypes of a certain group. It's tragic really, because in the long run, these uncontrolled commercial-inspired information would only serve to distort facts and prevent people from reaching out to each other. This is especially so with younger people and the less educated who tend to read these papers and lack the ability to see beyond what they read. There is a high possibility that they would simply accept the articles at face value.

To make matter worst, in certain places, people are actually allowed to publish hateful, distorted article all in the name of the individual's rights and freedom of speech. Freedom is one thing but if that freedom disrupts the peace then it can no longer be viewed or regarded as such. With freedom comes responsibility. I guess some nations have yet to comprehend that.Freedom should only be given to those who have proven themselves to be responsible human beings.

But I guess all this could perhaps be solved by reading. If these people were to read more, read beyond their comfort zone, they'd realize how ridiculous those hate articles and blogs are. Often written by a random civilian who thrives on attention and lacks the ability to see beyond their little well (井底之蛙). This individual would gladly cook up stories with what seems like logical evidence and for readers who lack the general knowledge required to identify the article as junk, the words would be taken as the gospel truth.

Since most of these people lack the opportunity to meet people that are unlike themselves they become afraid. And "Othering" happens, read Edward Said's book if you have no idea what I'm talking about.Religion have always been a political-rallying tool and looking at all those articles I see why.

I've been on my desk since last week preparing for the examinations. Honestly, I can't wait for it to be over, I need to sleep and laze around before the next and final semester starts.

Time for some ego-polishing. *ahem*I can't find any strands of white hair ever since I entered the University. I recall having about 4 to 5 strands of white hair when I was preparing for the 'A' Levels over a period of 3 years. The constant fear that I might not be able to make it since I'm competing with the top 25-30% of Singapore's cohort made it even worse. I'd often do extra readings, a ton of consultations and a number of essay practices. There were times where such madness paid off (I got full marks for one history paper assignment before @_@ though I do not know how it happened)but the relief was often temporary then I would start worrying again: "What if I do not make it?"

The happiest moment of my life? It was when I received the acceptance letter from NTU and see the joy in my parent's eyes :D It felt as if all my working and worrying is finally over. I can now do what I want with the time and resources I would be given, thus I decided to pursue my dream of being an VFX artist and took up a "Digital Animation" Major in NTU. I had wanted to take History as a major but...well, let's put that aside for now. If there is one thing I am happy about, it would be the fact that NTU is a traditional University and unlike other schools that offer such courses (Digital Animation), NTU does not only focus on the technical aspect of the vocation but the theoretical aspect as well. What I meant was, we have to take up courses such as Art History, History,Literature and Sociology to ensure a complete and wholesome education. I was able to do VFX and continue to study History and Literature (which I love as much as art), it was beautiful! The only set back? We have to take 3 science courses as well and that didn't settle well with me. I absolutely abhor science and mathematics, I have hated it since 'O' Levels and my feelings for it remains pretty much the same today. And, no, not because I'm a girl and maths is too "manly" for me. I just hate doing things that do not interest me, like light-waves and how it reacts to different surfaces...wait, that does interest me. Okay, fine, but I'd rather do something else.

The lecturers (from Lucasfilm/Disney/Dreamworks/Other Universities/Even famous people like Ishu Patel) were supportive, encouraging and they really changed my perspective and cleared my doubts with regards to animation and VFX. I made a lot of friends during the 3 years and it was wonderful(except for a few minor bumps@_@)! This semester, I began to familiarize myself with more of my classmates and if I had known earlier, I'd spent more time with them. I think most of us grew up in the 3 years that we have spent there and I look forward to further developing my skills/ideas and working with some of them in the near future.

I see storm clouds gathering beyond the horizons, time to build a shelter that'll last through it. Looks like Europe and especially the US is heading straight into a ditch. The world's looking rather grim these few days and even more so when the news mentioned that the planet was filled with 7billion people. Approximately 2.6 billion(total) were from China and India. With that number of people, I do not know how we are going to sustain ourselves, how the Earth is going to sustain us. Income gaps would widen, that I am certain off and since it's the case, I guess I'll have to do all in my ability and power to ensure my family and I will be placed at the winning end.

'Tis a dark time be born in... I wish I was born in my parents time, the 1950s or the 1960s and now I'd be a 50-60 year old enjoying the golden years of my life. Anyway, if nothing changes and everything goes on the way it has been going on, in 20-30 years time, I'd say we have a really nasty world to live in. Money would be God, selfish indulgence would be our code and brotherhood would be nothing more than a myth that belong in tales.

I was looking for clothes online and I accidentally stumbled upon this forum. It's interesting to see how serious these people are about dressing up as a character. I mean it's for fun right? So what if people decide to modify the costumes or add a couple of extension the wig and what not? In fact, I'd find it more interesting to see the different modifications. Even if people cross or mix the characters' costumes, I do not see the problem with it. It's not a movie costume set and you won't be running around in a movie set. At the end of the day, it's just another way for people to come together and play.

I have a soft spot for autumn's scenery, the red and gold hues are just so beautiful. It's too bad we don't have all four seasons here in Singapore. I'd love to run and jump into a pile of golden brown autumn leaves. I know a lot of girls who love flowers but there's nothing more appealing to me than trees. For some reason, I adore trees, the spread of the leaves, the turn of the branches and flow of roots are all so mesmerizing and interesting to look at. My favourite tree of them all would of course be the Aspen Tree with its white trunk and golden-yellow leaves.

Wow, that was amazing, it actually didn't hurt as much as I expected it to. Looks like the "shift-focus" method does work...to a certain extent. As a treat for my success in pain control, I decided to get an Earl Grey milk tea :) Ah~ now that my heart is at ease, I can finally go back to working. Hurrah!

No bones broken, lucky me. But it's not over yet, the doctor wasn't in on Friday so I had the appointment rescheduled to this Sunday...which is today...I do not feel any pain right now, just a little tugging and numbness. One a pain scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the worst, I'd say right now, it's a 1 to 2, a little uncomfortable but that's about it. What I'm afraid of is when the doctor does the re-dressing of the wound, when that happens, the pain usually hits an 8 to 10. The last time it happened I ended screaming and crying, it's embarrassing but when you're in pain, I don't think embarrassment would be a problem. I hope I would be able to psycho myself into another realm filled with ponies, rainbows and leprechauns when it's re-dressing time tomorrow.

It was one of those days where you feel like doing something stupid and then end up regretting what you did. I wanted to look for a CD that I know I could not find in an unstable wardrobe of mine, even as I pushed the door apart I knew it was a bad idea. And it was, the 3 inch, solid wood doors came loose, not one but two. If it was just one I could handle it but two...it was just too heavy and I dropped one of it and it went right for my left toe. The initial pain was excruciating but I thought it would just be a nasty bruise. But it was worst, the toe started to bleed...a lot. and the entire room started looking like a crime scene as I hobble around looking for a bandage. Unfortunately even after banding and taking a nap for an hour, the bleeding wouldn't stop and I began to suspect the injury was worse than it I assumed it to be. So I grabbed my keys and headed to the doctor(my dad drove). The doctor told me that he needs to remove the nail in order to enable to blood to clot properly,it was a horrible decision but I said yes. The worse part of it all was the injection to numb the toe, it was painful as hell! But the after effects were awesome, I could barely feel a thing. :) I also had another 4 stiches ( deep cut, no wonder there was so much blood).

I was sent for an xray today and I will be heading back to the doctor tomorrow to re-bandage the wound. Hope it won't hurt as bad...though I highly doubt I'll be so fortunate. >:\

I realized I haven't read a single manga for almost a year or so, it might be because I'm reading more novels. Well...I do have a mini library at home stacked to the brim with books my mom, my sister and I hoard from bookstores and book fairs. And it's been awhile since I saw a good anime, the last one I saw a year ago was 'Pumpkin Scissors' but the company decided to stop producing it due to its low ratings. I have nothing against anime or manga but I guess I just grew out of it,grew tired of it...maybe I just found it too stagnant in terms of style and idea.

I am currently watching 'The Great Queen Seondeok' on my television...then I moved into the room to watch it on my laptop. It was, like most Period drama, absolutely addictive and trying to stop watching became a daily struggle.Just Kidding, it was really good and that made it really hard to put the DVD away but I have work to do so I did put it aside for now. I was annoyed by the yellow-shirt Hwarang Al-Cheon at first but they've made a wonderful character out of him and now he's my favourite to watch on screen!

After reading some comments posted on youtube with regards to a 'History of Singapore' video, I was appalled by the monstrous number of ignorant, myopic individuals. Comments were thrown in without any consideration or thought, they were extremely shallow, insulting and most of the time, irrelevant to the video that was posted up. And most attempt to come out with a "logical argument" were pathetic, without sufficient background knowledge, the arguments turned out to be a "my father is stronger than yours" type of argument which were most of the time, nonsensical.

I went to my lecturer for a little advise on compositing and ended up with a couple of DVDs in my hand. (Well,that was after the discussion.) Going back to the movie: The Road. Starring Viggo Mortensen a.k.a Aargon from Lord of The Rings. Despite it being thought-provoking, I have to say that the movie was absolutely depressing. A particular scene within the movie whereby the father discovered a group of amputated "prisoners" locked in the basement, waiting to be slaughtered and eaten was the most unsettling. Unfortunately, the ending did nothing to alleviate the already dire situation the father and son pair had face. Although viewers would feel a sense of hope and peace at the end of the movie, the knowledge that the world has yet to recover made it seem fleeting and fragile, perhaps even pointless. I would not be going into the details for anyone who's reading this, if you would like to know more, do look for the movie and enjoy.

This month, I did two 10km run. The first one being the POSB kids run and the second one, NIKE. Both were awesome but I preferred the POSB run this time around because for some reason or another, I became annoyed with NIKE for the mediocre services(they should not get kids to volunteer) and for ruining my bag :( But all in all, both runs were generally enjoyable and after the NIKE run, my shin splint completely disappeared. Then it came back again...when I started DANCE CENTRAL. Well, at least now I know what's causing it and its definitely not my runs.

I hope to continue running and lose more weight so I can give my body a break from working overtime to keep me alive.

Oh crap, I left my stuff in school =.=" Ah... nevermind it then. On a lighter note, I managed to passed my driving test! I seriously thought I would fail, especially after a series of unfortunate events. First it rained heavily, then in the train I accidentally stepped on a lady's toe and earned myself a death-glare, then half-way through the trip my tummy started acting up and I needed the washroom, after that, when the test finally started, my left mirror fogged up and I could not see the bloody point at which I'm supposed to turn. It was a good thing I managed to park the car based purely on instinct, if not, I would have failed and there goes the SDG189.

I've never really know what I wanted to do with my Digital Animation Degree until about a year ago when Paul Kirwan, a compositor from Australia who worked on the Lord Of The Rings came to our University for a talk. I was really lost and I asked him a few questions regarding the industry and what I got in return was truly inspiring. He even offered to aid me with my portfolio. I have his contacts but I have yet to show him anything...not yet, not until I finish this semester. ;D

Who's your all time favourite Disney villian? Judge Claude Frolo from The Hunchback of Notre Dame tops my list as the best villain of all Disney Animations. He's charming, really. A pair of independent female artiste I stumbled upon while browsing Tumblr today. There it was, a link to the song and I was curious so I clicked on it and immediately fell in love with the song. This is their album image, the track I listened to on Tumblr would be: When I Grow Up.

Honestly, I'd never thought I would like independent artistes, I have always found them a little too eccentric in their songs. However, First Aid Kit was surprisingly good and as long as the song is good, I'll listen to it. If I like it enough, I'll buy the CD :D

It's been awhile since I really blogged, I guess the blog is due for a little ranting. *ahem* Here goes nothing. It has been 3 years since I first University and now I'm in my fourth year. I've really enjoyed my time in school, there were little bumps along the way but like a person I know once said, "Live is never a straight road'. The only regret I might have was perhaps not taking things too seriously at times, I could have built a spectacular portfolio...not that it's not possible now...well then, I guess there are no regrets then. Oh, well, maybe there is this one regret: wasting 3 years of friendship on someone who'd desperately and willingly fall at the beck and command of a male whose balls I doubt are even in existence. But life goes on, what's a little drop of water in the vast ocean.

Digital Animation was one course I'd never thought I would ever take. What I had truly wanted was History or English Literature but I guess it does not matter now. Why should one limit themselves in terms of experience and knowledge to just one's major? Everything is connected, overlapped and intersecting, there is History in Art and in Art, Literature. I'll continue to read, explore and draw, absorbing and living every moment of my life.

Sean Bean, one of my favourite actors in Lord of The Rings and Game of Thrones. There are times when I forget that I saw Lord of the Rings at a young age, it first debut in 2001, I was just 14. That's almost a decade ago...and I was a idiotic self-absorbed tyke.*ahem*

Bean's acting moved me in Game of Thrones as it did 10 years ago when I watched Lord of the Rings. The sincerity and dedication given by the actor to the character is amazing and absolutely believable. Not to mention, he is easy on the eyes. What truly amazes me though is his ability to take on the roles of a "hero" or a "villian" and play it well. I am sure you've known actors who'd usually do better as either a "hero" or a "villain" but never both. Action speaks louder than words and I'll leave Bean's marvelous acting speak for itself.

I hope I survive the 10km, my run time has been nothing short of lousy. Two days back I completed 4.83km in 32minutes, that's really slow but considering the fact that I haven't been running for months...I decided to overlook it. Today's run however cannot be overlooked. I managed to complete 4.02km in 23minutes...that is WAY TOO SLOW! Looks like I need more training, more water and less food. There's a make up lesson for Visual Effects this Saturday so maybe I'll try again. This time, it must be below the 20minutes target.

I am naive and perhaps idealistic but isn't that what makes us human? Is it wrong to hope, wish and dream a little? Ever since I was 12, I knew I wanted to go into the arts, by arts I meant 3D gaming, animation and advertising, basically commercial art.Fine Arts? Well, not for me. Contemporary art with their minimalistic approach and abstract concepts simply look like pathetic attempts by supposed "artists" to pass off their skill-less work as art with a complicated back story. Now, I am not saying that thus, all contemporary art are rubbish. I have been to contemporary art exhibitions and I do admire some artist's work, one of them would be Charles Sandison.

Having said that, it does not mean I'm a advent supporter of senseless decoratives without the slightest hint of intellect. I have seen some works where students and professionals alike create a beautiful piece of work but that is about it, the work stops before it even begins. No matter the type of Art, I think it is essential for artists to be equipped with a certain degree of historical knowledge with respect to their field. An animator for instance should be aware of old works, of old animators, of the history of animation and not just create a piece simply because it's cute or that it is the 'cool'. We are all part of the human race and we are all products of history and we should not dismiss the study of the past or the application of that attained knowledge as something that's old-fashioned.

Digressed a little over there. Now, as most of you would know I am born and bred in Singapore and it can be stressful living here. Especially when the your success is defined by much zeroes you have in your bank account.Knowing that I still choose what I choose because I know I cannot do things that I do not like. I've tried it once before, I got bored, distracted and eventually I quit. I want to be true to myself, I like what I am doing. Although I am not the best animator/artist out there, I am still an animator/artist and as long I am alive I will keep on trying to live my dream. Life is short, in 6 years time I'll be 30 then soon it'll be 40,50,60 and who knows when I'll return home.

All I know is that when I am going, I do not want to feel that I have not lived my life. When you leave, you can't bring all that zeroes in your account with you and you'll suddenly realise that all those years, you've been living up to society's expectation and definition of success. And by then it'll be too late. I look at some of my peer's job options and I am glad that I do not have to do what they do.

I might not earn millions in cash but I earn millions in heart and soul.

Well, it's father's day today so my family and I headed down to Orchard Road for dinner and coffee :) We ate at F.I.S.H, a sister restaurant of the popular Fish and Co. that's all over Singapore. I ordered baked fish with thyme, it's a little salty but the meat was soft, not to mention with every main course, there's a free salad buffet. It's a pretty good deal no matter now I look at it.

After dinner and walking around, we headed back to Somerset 313,Blue Mountain cafe. hahaha, I know Blue Mountain is a place in Australia but I can't help but recall Tolkien's blue mountain/Ered Luin. The coffee's there pretty good. As for the pricing, it's standard coffee house pricing except for their special brew which will cost SDG26++.

My internship so far has been an eye-opener to the workings of the media industry. I am working as an animator/designer there and so far, things have been rather fun. The office is located in Clarke Quay and that means, it's just 3 stops away from where I live. Absolute Convenience. And when it comes to lunch, Liang Court's food centre will fill those empty bellies. There are other interns there as well but most are from NUS/CNM. Friendly people and really fun to be with. :)

Sneaking by almost every enemy wasn't an easy job but I'm pretty good at it so I made it pass Moria on foot. Dodging, running, avoiding as I go along.

I finally reached the borders of Lothlorien, but I am not able to pass. Without Galadriel's permission I'll be shot down by my Southern Kinsmen. Not a good way to go after all the trouble I went through in Moria.

The GE 2011 is finally over and the majority have spoken, it might not have been the voice that I have wanted but it was the voice nonetheless. I am a little disappointed by the election results but things may change over time. I guess we'll have to wait and see what will happen in the next five years.

I understand MM Lee's concern about the young Singaporeans who he quoted as "a generation that does not remember from when we came." A lot of Singaporeans, especially the younger generation, fail to see that we actually struggled to be where we are now economically. Indeed, economically. We have gone far as an economic hub but as a nation, are we going any further? A good business can run for centuries but a home without a heart falls apart. With the economic geniuses Singapore produces, the country may still remain as it is for a few more centuries but what use is a country that generates wealth alone?

Wealth is important, I know because I have been caught in a situation where I have to watch others eat while I just survive on tap water for the entire day in school. But Singapore have achieved wealth, have it not? Then, is it not time to develop our heart?

I have been told that the heart is inefficient, that it'll not lead the country. But the heart is what rules the mind ultimately. Is it not the desire that springs from within your heart that directs your mind to do what it does?(seemingly rational or otherwise)

I have also talked to people who simply did what they did for the sake of security, while others simply do it because they have been away from Singapore for some time, then they are those who in the comfort of their homes,simply lack the ability to see the workings of the political parties.

I'm just stating an opinion about an entry I have read somewhere. It's not a personal attack on the person, just on the text. So no hard feelings :) Japan's train is more packed, yes but with Japanese. The Japanese are paid higher and their suicide rates are higher according to the write up. Yes and Singaporeans have their wages depressed and the suicide rates have gone up, it was in the straits times not too long ago (regarding the suicide rates).

Living in another country does not mean that one have gain inexplicable knowledge about life. Every country has its problems, how about comparing one of Japan's success against Singapore's? Income gap. In Japan, the income gap is not as wide as Singapore but I guess when things are smooth-sailing, such minor details are simply...insignificant.I have been told by someone who lived and studied in London, to him, Singapore's society has turned into a heartless mob who, in their pursue of personal security and monetary wealth, have gained in thier ability but decayed in their integrity.

Naturally, change takes time but there is always a starting point, when I choose the party I did, I have taken all these into considerations and do not expect an overnight miracle. It is expected that immediate change would not occur within a short period of time for the journey of the thousand miles begin with a single step. As for the problems that needs solving...isn't it better to first look at the root cause of the problem before directing the blame to problem solver.

I have also read comments that Japan's government are not as good as Singapore's but their people are better than Singaporeans. Have you then, ever asked yourself: Why? I guess not. Perhaps it is time to sit and think before complaining about things that bother you on a superficial level.

Change is scary, it's rejected, it's viewed with resentment because it is the unknown. But sometimes, the unknown comes to you and when a proven piloting method fails, it would be wonderful to have a "co-pilot" whose experience differs from yours.

I was trying to do my essay but I was too tired and my mind to dull to come up with anything substantial so I went to bed. Little did I expect to have such an odd dream.

It started with a guy trying to run away from a witch who thought he was her son-in-law, before long, soldiers came, they killed the witch. I don't rem what happened to the guy. Things got really weird from then on, the witch cast a major spell before she died and everyone had to retreat into the building. I was then tasked with sealing the building but in order to do that I need a deep-blood-red orb that is beneath the building. This is where I had a little deja-vu. The same building, the same lift appeared again. It's the same building and lift I saw in a previous dream where
we ran away from zombies. But this time, I could not remember the way and was forced to take an alternative route.

I needed a car, took it from someone and drove away with the police chasing and then, losing me. The dream went on, only now I am no longer the protagonist, it's another girl, a blonde little girl. Apparently, she has been transformed into a little girl because of some curse? can't remember. Anyway, she met her friend in a shop she ran her car into and there was a flashback. It was her 16th birthday and her friend asked her what's so special about today. She replied, my father.

There was an expression of shock on her friend's face but it quickly gave way to relief when she realised that the blonde girl was talking about her father giving her a present. Then there's another deja vu moment for me. For some reason, I remember her dad and what actually happened. He was a scientist in that same building I recalled not too long ago. He had died there and the blonde girl's friend and mother have been trying to keep it from her.

Apparently, the little blonde girl has something that her father passed to her and people are after here. I was about to find out who when the scene suddenly switched to a hospital(brightly lit and comfy) but I was woken up by my family coming home from shopping. so, it stops there.

The Measure For Measure presentation went well today with me stumbling a little over the points, it's a good thing my group mate's more experienced in dealing with it. :D Totally spared me the guillotine that I may otherwise have faced.

I am absolutely horrified by what I saw a moment ago. Someone from a Junior College can never have such a writing calibre...or can they? Simply put, 'tis sad indeed. One more thing, Twilight is a little girl's daydream on pieces of paper, it doesn't address any concerns with regards to society and the characters are so flat that they have to depend on their looks to get the reader's attention. It's a teenage fiction catered to under-developed girls(just like shoujou mangas)so it's fine if the idea of a sparkling effeminate vampire appeals to them. But to older readers, I am really disappointed that you guys would fall for such a soulless story.My heart goes out to you.

Is the girl supposed to be touched after the guy insulted her capabilities based on her gender? I've seen naivety and "cute-ness" but this goes beyond that, into the realm of idiocy. It's no wonder girls who read such junk are often severely disillusioned with the idea that "adorably-dumb" squeaky girls who fall every 5 seconds on her face is every man's greatest dream.

Sorry, I saw something that irked me, so I wrote it down to rid myself of the anger and annoyance. :D

I've always been interested in matte paintings but I've never really manage to get into one of those classes in school due to its high popularity and my relatively slow Internet on course registration day.

Anyway, I decided to give it a try using an online tutorial. I've decided to use my school as the base and I borrowed a few more images from the net, namely the sky and the dragon. There seems to be a problem though, the entire completed scene looks more like a miniature shot.

The art criticism course had organized a trip to the Singapore Biennale 2011 at the old airport in Kallang. Contrary to most review, the works there were not as bad as people made it out to be. There were works that I could not comprehend despite forcing my brain to analyse it in all ways possible but then again, I was never a fervent contemporary art worshipper. The minimalism and highly abstracted concepts had always seem to be a desperate attempt to exert uniqueness and "thought" into otherwise incinerator-worthy art works.

To say that the temperature was all right is an absolute understatement. In less than 15 minutes, my friends and I were perspiring like wet chickens. Closed windows and tight spaces made the venue extremely suffocating. It's sad really, because without physical peace, we could hardly appreciate the works that lined the hallways. All we could think about was a glass of ice cold coke.

I have photographed a selection of preferred works but uploading it now would not be possible when the camera's battery is flat.

I guess that makes me the road =.= o0o While I have little or no problem in dealing with some form of technology, programmes like Maya are sometimes way beyond my comprehension. The need to be detailed,to the point and extremely organized is an obsessive skill that only a science student could handle. It drives people like me insane for I prefer an overall picture, a general idea and a concept that envelopes everything without the nitty gritty details. Mathematical graph editors, x and y axises that I have desperately tried to cast out of my life are back to haunt me again, elusive computer codes constantly rear its ugly head destroying whatever happiness I had prior to seeing it.... Maths/Science,concepts that are rooted in details while being one of the most
abstract do nothing but destroy the soul within you. Bit by bit, it nibbles away till you resemble a moth-bitten wardrobe. Science has indeed caged Art in its deepest and darkest dungeon.
